Summer skin desperately asks for the following:
  • Moisture, moisture, moisture!!!
  • Sun damage prevention (wrinkles, dark spots)
  • Serious SPF protection
  • Natural ingredients and no parabens please!

In last few months, I got a lot of inspiration from Japanese beauty blogs and all organics cosmetics fora and here is what I recommend and included in my beauty routine for Summer 2014.

Summer Beauty Essentials

Japanese beauty inspirations:

  • Tsubaki Beauty Oil carried me a long way from a sever winter temperatures, which caused super drying of my under eye area to hot Summer days when heavy moisture after day at the beach was required.
  • Good Bye Dark Eye - Tonymoly Panda's Dream, nobody who likes Miyazaki animation:) can resist this amazingly cute packaging. I am still not completely sure whether it does miracles to remove dark under eye circles but it seems to be very moisturizing and price friendly.
  • Biore SPF 50 is a true hit on the Japanese beauty market. It feels like feeding your skin with water; very pleasant smell; leaves no white residue. I already used two of packages this cream this Summer and super happy with the results.

Organic beauty inspirations:

  • Rosewater Balancing Mist by Jurlique- It not only makes you feel refreshed during the day spent in AC air of the office, but has this real rose infused smell that is an instant mood booster for me; better than perfume in the Summer.
  • Skin Balancing Face Oil by Jurlique - Another plant based oil but this one is wonderfully heavy with delicious natural ingredients : from macadamia seed to avocado oil among others. It can be used instead of moisturizer.
  • Korres Greek Yoghurt - anyone ready for nourishing night facial or light yoghurt feel in the comfort of your home. Perfect choice!
  • Royal Cream - super natural cream with royal jelly known for its anti-aging and sun damage preventing effects. It smells so deliciously honey-like, it's hard not to taste it!

How are you treating your skin this Summer? I am looking forward to more inspirations.
