7 Finds to Brighten Your Weekend

It's already half of April, so definitely my monthly inspirations are delayed. The prevailing theme in my personal searches for the inspiring and fun things are my potential summer travels. Therefore, anything I am presenting below, you can easily pack in your cabin luggage. My current motto is: travel light and worry-free! Even if you are not traveling anytime soon, I hope my recommendations will inspire you to get out there and discover what your city has to offer this weekend. Finally, there is hope for spring weather ahead of us, so take the opportunity to explore!

1. Leather Maude Sandals, Elina Lindardaki - Any summer vacation requires a perfect pair of sandals. These are hand-made sandals by the designer from Greece and make me dream in a Mediterranean way. I just love how playful and straightforward they are at the same time. An important fact for long travels, they are light as a feather.
2. Prtty Peaushun, Tinted Lotion - I found about this secret weapon of a body lotion by researching many celebrity make-up artists' blogs. If you are heading to a destination wedding on a warm island and your skin after long winter is not exactly sun-kissed and perfect, this might be your new miracle-maker.
3. The Isaac Mizrahi in Pictures: New York City 1983-1993 - 2016 is quite a year for Isaac Mizrahi, with the exhibition presenting 30 years of his artistic achievements at the Jewish Museum in NYC, an autobiography in the making and lots of media buzz. I cannot resist a book which is focused on such a creative personality and my favorite city in the world.
4. Sunglasses, Marc by Marc Jacobs - When it comes to sunglasses, I am one of the most loyal and devoted fans of Marc Jacobs on the planet, and there are so many reasons for that. I always end up wearing them until they fall apart because they match my face shape perfectly and just look so damn good! 
5. Happy Frise Bracelet, Shourouk - During the summer, bracelets are my favorite piece of jewelry, and with this one, I feel like a happy gypsy princess.
6. Gingembre Candle, Byredo - Whenever I travel and feel nostalgic for home, this candle brings coziness to any interior I stay in. It brings summer  mood in mind even in the middle of April. Could that ever be a bad thing?
7. Headphones, Urbanears -  During a long flight or a morning work commute, I love escaping from any background noise or random conversations with the help of the great pair of headphones. Catching up with favorite podcasts, playlists and audiobooks make the time fly so fast.
