I have to admit I was pretty lucky with the frequency of my travels this summer. I know, I am late with my accounts of stylish and exciting ventures I had in last two months but don't you worry. Soon, I will be sharing my recommendations for places to see in Seattle and Stockholm.
This time I am getting ready to visit the Baltic seaside next week. This post will be a combination of my September inspirations and things I want to pack for my last summer vacation this year.

The weather in July and August was unusually lovely. However, September in Poland usually means chilly mornings and evenings and lots of unpredictability. If any of you are planning some time-off this month, I hope you will find this post useful.
Let's start with some clothes that will keep us nice and warm and also are a guarantee that we will be looking our best. When I travel to remote to the countryside, I do not care for high heels and fancy dresses; instead, I go for warm and cozy sweaters and sweatpants. I wrote about my devotion to Berenika Czarnota's knits on this blog many times. Her sweaters are hand-knitted, made of high-quality yarns and fit so well. No further bragging necessary. Just try them on, and you will never take them off!

Recently, I discovered Animush, a Polish fashion brand mastering the art of the casual fashion. I am a proud owner of their "Super Heroine" (Super Bohaterka) t-shirt. The brand is based in Warsaw and manufactures their designs locally. Their owners firmly believe in women's rights and spread messages of self-confidence and self-love for women of all ages.
If you are going anywhere near the Baltic sea in the early fall be assured that it will be windy and raining at times and the one thing you will need absolutely every day is a parka. I like the one from Free People because it is both stylish and functional and can be worn both to formal occasions as well as to the beach.

When I am away from the city, I love wearing sweatpants, which are usually not my first choice apart from weekend afternoons in my apartment or at the gym. I first discovered Alternative when I was walking down Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice, LA. I can swear on the fact that those are hands down the softest pants I have ever been wearing, being the happiest owner of 4 pairs of them. This brand believes in sustainable and eco-friendly fashion and makes sure the fabrics they use will offer you maximum comfort.

Bag and sneakers for summer vacation
& Other Stories / Plumo

Regardless of whether I am on vacation or at work, I always carry a medium to a large-sized bag. I need to have all my essentials in one place; otherwise, I feel out of place. This bag has a vibe of a fancy beach basket, but it won't look out of place on the busy streets of Warsaw.
I like staying a minimalist when I travel, but I still need a bit of sparkle. Panama Jewels is a Polish jewelry brand whose designs speak to my soul. Simple and elegant and very universal and versatile.

When I am thinking about the right pair of shoes to take on the vacation filled with daily activities, the answer is just one: sneakers. I am sure that most of us have at least a few pairs of those as they are finally allowed to be worn everywhere from offices to picnic in the woods. Plumo is one of those brands, I have been following since the starting days of this blog. What I like about their sneakers is that they mix and match different textures from suede, canvas to leather and the result is unique.

When I pack for any vacation, I always have to take a piece of home with me. This time it is the scent that I cannot separate myself from, The Ritual Of Happy Buddha by Rituals. There is something very seductive and calming about the smell of sweet oranges and cedarwood locked in a body mist. This fragrance takes me to dreamy destinations regardless of where I am. No vacation is complete without a book. I keep rediscovering Tove Janson's Moomins since my early childhood. However, the original comic books are filled with sarcastic adult humor and remind me that the core of happiness is to be found in simple pleasures. As I want to leave all my worries behind and charge my batteries, I only take with me what I genuinely like and what makes me enjoy myself to the fullest. What are your favorite things that accompany you during your travels? Don't be shy and share them with me.
