The time has come to post the list of my favorite things of 2020. As this has been a year of working from home, everyday ZOOM calls, never-ending webinars, my taste has been strongly influenced by the social trends of 2020. All the items on the lists have not been sponsored but are part of my home-focused reality. I hope they can bring joy some joy and inspiration in 2021!
- Favorite hoodie: BALTICA - I had a pleasure to co-design a limited edition of the sweatshirts with Baltica and the company I work for. Let me tell you the clothes inspired by surfers' way of living are so comfortable, you will never want to take them off!
- Best shampoo: OWAY - When I looked at this brand's packaging, I thought they must be from Australia and how wrong was I! This is an environmentally friendly Polish brand! My hair has never been that soft before.
- My favorite beauty find: Summer Fridays CC ME - I have been looking for a vitamin C infused serum for the sensitive skin for the last few years. Finally, I have found my Holy Grail!
- New Polish fashion brand : THIS IS COMMITMENT - This sweatshirt and sweat pants in cobalt blue are on the top of my shopping list this year. Once again, the Polish brand which, in my humble opinion, is destined for the international success.
- Best book of the year: Confession by Jessie Burton - I could not put this book down. In the time of isolation I was not able to focus on reading, and I kept switching from one book to another. Until I found this book. For me it is the best book about women I read in 2020!
- Favorite new armchair: LOUNGE CHAIR - As lounging has become a daily ritual in the last couple of months. If I want to feel like a queen, sitting on this chair makes me feel like I live in Buckingham Palace.
- Favorite sneakers: Steve Madden Cliff Sneaker - As most of my sneakers have been black, I choose color in 2021!
- Favorite new podcast: Ladies first with Laura Brown - This Aussie fashion guru is beloved all over the world for her sense of humor and lightness with which she covers fashion topics. This podcast is so much fun!
- Most entertaining TV show: High fidelity - I spent a lot of time online watching so many different series in 2020. However, if I was to choose something entertaining and fun, that would be High fidelity. Zoe Kravitz shines like a diamond in this show. I can't believe they cancelled it. Shame on you Hulu!
- Best movie of 2020: Uncle Frank - I laughed and cried and simply loved this movie!
- Best newsletter: Garance. world - It requires a membership to read it and be a part of Garance's family but it's so worth it!
- My favorite online wine store: Wine & Roses - A gem on the Warsaw's wine store scene!
- Beauty products for those of us with sensitive skin recommended by Naomi Watts to try next year: ONDA
